THE CORPORATE LADDER

Late in his life,

He realized,

He isn’t in a game,

A board game,

Of snake n’ ladder,

Each step leading down,

To the sewage,

Transforming like a rat,

Woebegone,

Peace replaced with a piece,

Of cheese,

Hooked to the dollar axis.
